Bastille day 1st birthday for henry marie

You guys. You guys? This first birthday? Henry and Marie were the cutest little twins, and their mother, Susan, deserved a beautiful party to celebrate surviving the first year of having twins.

She is a hopeless Francophile, and she couldn’t believe that her children were born on Bastille Day. So perfect! She had to plan the first celebration in a French style, and she did an incredible job. Simple, sophisticated, and perfectly French. Planning something similar is totally achievable.

Check out these two! They’re so tasty!

Susan used Jordan’s crepe-paper fringe garland tutorial For the background. It’s easy and pretty! I love the idea of printing out Instagrams from the baby’s first birthday to display at the party.

Pinwheels are a great idea for a background. It is budget-friendly and easy to do, even if you are not a DIY expert.

Susan has also started a nursery business called Nesting. If you like her style and would like it in your nursery. And A great blog. She documents her life as a twin mom, among many other beautiful things.
