We know that this party is for a 5-year-old, but don’t you think those hanging ferns would make great home decor too? The birthday fairy Taylor is a Tinkerbell fan, so Gloria Wong’s design decided to go all out for the woodland theme. She and Jeanne from Shop Sweet Things have also launched a party line, Harlow & Grey. Take a look if you are looking for cute party supplies. Let’s get started!

The 30 friends of Taylor’s preschool called the event “fairies and critters.” Gloria also made critter masks and wings as well as tutus out of tulle. She said, “I love that so many boys chose to wear fairy wings and floral crowns, while many girls chose critter masquerades!” They painted them themselves. I chose paint colors that would go with the rest. I offered different shades of coral, gold, brown and green.

The fairy garden spread featured mushroom toadstools cupcakes (white frosting colored with food coloring) and white chocolate chips stacked upside down. Acorns were made using Hershey’s Kisses and Nilla wafers along with chocolate chips, frosting, and chocolate chips. Genius.

The scene was finished with spray-painted gold unicorns.

Harlow & Grey offers a variety of products, including gold and pink plates and cups.
