Eating out is one of our favorite things to do. You can find a great location to satisfy any taste or experience.

Social Fabric, a group of influencers, asked site owners to submit the most romantic restaurants for Valentine’s Day in their area. Omaha is where I live, but I would love to get some suggestions from other sites.

Unfortunately, the price is too steep for us. I would love to visit Flatiron Cafe one day. Please let me know what you think of the romantic atmosphere if you are able to afford it. We have selected a few restaurants that are perfect for a Valentine’s Day Date Night in Omaha.

Six romantic restaurants in Omaha for Valentine’s Day

  1. Plank Seafood Providers: Plank is my favorite restaurant! My first time eating oysters on the half-shell was a great experience. Researchers labeled oysters as aphrodisiacs in 2005 due to their chemical composition. Grab some oysters at the oyster bar and head out to the Old Market District.
  2. La Buvette Wine Bar & Delicatessen If you are a wine lover and want to experience a change of atmosphere, La Buvette is the place for you. This is a great place for a romantic meal with a glass or two of wine. The Old Market District is also nearby. Take a stroll in the park at the Gene Leahey Mall.
  3. Vino VanGogh : (Now Closed). Dinner, wine, and painting. Enjoy an evening of fun while creating a masterpiece. You’ll have a blast brushing up on your painting skills, no matter how talented you are. Updated January 2022 with new wine and paint options. (Contact locations for more information about food and drink options.) Paint with a Twist Pinot’s Palette Corky Canvas.
  4. Delicious European Bakery This is my favorite cafe in Omaha. Their specialty coffee is creamier and sweeter than any other I’ve tried. You can also get a tasty cup of coffee and lighter options like a fruit and a cheese plate or a flakey Chicken Pot Pie.
  5. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema: Take a meal and a movie up a notch with the Cinedine, located in Midtown Crossing. This theater used to be the Marcus Theater Cinedine. Arrive early to enjoy dinner and drinks before the movie begins. All you need to know about making the most of your evening!
  6. Sakura Bana: Are you a sushi fan? Sakura Bana is our favorite sushi place in Omaha. Our favorite sushi spot in Omaha is Sakura Bana. This is the one I am craving right now. Yum! Yum!
